Katie Baldwin is a Dayton area native. During her last two years of high school, Katie moved from Beavercreek, Ohio to Cleveland, Ohio where she attended boarding school for ice hockey. Due to that opportunity, Katie was fortunate enough to also play ice hockey at Miami University, allowing her to be closer to her family and their Dayton home. Throughout college, Katie worked as a senior home care aide and a restaurant server.
Once Katie graduated, she moved to Indianapolis to work and pursue stand-up comedy; ultimately returning to Dayton amid the COVID-19 shutdown in pursuit of a new job opportunity as a Staffing Specialist out of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. During the four years Katie worked in Staffing, she gained a unique understanding of the relocation process in and out of the Dayton area. She ultimately resigned from her position to pursue her passion of developing ice hockey players and to help grow the game of ice hockey in Dayton.
Now, as the owner of Stride Hockey Development, Dayton’s first and only off-ice training facility, Katie has become extremely connected to the Dayton community. She has been able to build her business through being knowledgable, fair, innovative and empathetic with a drive for customer service. It is those same values Katie recognized in The Erin Kristbaum Team and Century 21 The Gene Group, making that partnership an easy choice. It is those values, coupled with her experience in staffing, that Katie will implement in her Real Estate practices in order to serve the community she has known and loved for her entire life.
